The RRPP consists of a network of partners. The Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC) funds the entire Programme and its Cooperation Offices in the Western Balkans region support its implementation.

Further, the core of the RRPP are the nucleus partners, i.e. the organisations in the Western Balkans, which undertake the research in the social sciences that is relevant to the transformation of the region.

Finally, the RRPP also involves institutions (Local Coordination Units) that provide specific support, especially in the area of local coordination and capacity building.
